TEAM OF THE WEEK

Our new team of the week is the
San Diego Sun Devils 14U travel
baseball team.  

The Sun Devils recently captured
the USSSA Baseball Indian
Summer Classic Tournament
Championship held at the Big
League of Dreams in Riverside
on October 14-15.

The San Diego Sun Devils 14
and under travel ball team is
comprised of players from the
San Diego area, primarily
Rancho Penasquitos and Poway.
 

Enroute to their Championship
win of the Blue Division, the San
Diego Sun Devils defeated the
Cal Knights 5-1; the OCBA
Barons 5-2; the Las Flores
Tigers 8-0 and finally the Long
Beach Blast 8-6.

Manager Manny Manos was
thrilled with the way the boys
played.  "These boys played
great all tournament long.  It sure
was nice to see all the hard work
pay off for them.  No longer are
we the bridesmaid."

Congratulations Sun Devils, let's
keep it going!
