| ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (click here for past winners) This Week we are honoring the PQ Girls U14 soccer team. A combined Girls Under 14 PQ Premier Soccer Team made up of players from both the Red and Black Team were this weekend’s, December 15th and 16th, Coronado Holiday Cup Champions. The team was made up of the following players: Megan Bouvier, Kaitlyn Cardenas, Nikkiana Dukellis, Brittany Eremita, Amanda Higgs, Mikenna Horan, Lainey Fisher, Danielle Meriwether, Allie Myers, Kayla Nunez, Maddy Seeley, Kristina Tabar, Trisha Taniguchi, Skyler Vanderhye and Ashley Wong. The team went undefeated throughout the tournament with an overal record of 5 wins, 1 draw and no loses. The girls scored 14 goals and only gave up 4 goals over the entire tournament. In the Championship match PQ beat the Carlsbad Wave by a score of 3-2. The teams are coached by Ruben Martinez and Gary Rossi.
