TEAM OF THE WEEK

Our new team of the week is the
PQ Premiere Girls U14 Red.

This team is rolling through the
Presidio League, with a record to
date of 9-1-2.  After placing a
very impressive 2nd in the
Nomads Memorial Day
Tournament, they have really
turned it on during league play.

The core of this team has been
playing together starting in the
rec league, then joining PQ
Premiere as U9's.  With a couple
of key additions putting the final
pieces in place, they are now a
force to be reckoned with.

There have been more than a few
games where they have trailed at
halftime or late in the game, only
to score late in the game to
secure the victory.  Twice they
have scored in the last 5 minutes
of the game for the win.

As head coach Peter Stogsdill
says, "These girls have really
come together as a team.  They
are a pretty resilient bunch, and
they always play through the final
whistle."

Feel free to let the girls U14's or
any other of our athletes in the
community know what a great job
they are doing by registering (for
free) and posting in our message
boards.
